| Slabroek campground surroundings
Slabroek campground is surrounded by an extensive nature reserve.
Located between Uden and Oss lays the "Maashorst"
reserve. It is a quiet area that offers a variety in nature
and activities. It measures close to 4000 hectare, which makes
it the largest nature reserve in the province of Northern Brabant.
Forrest, heath and agriculture are being complemented by drift
sand, brooks and fens.
On the heath you can run into a flock
of sheep , cattle
or a herd of goat. It is a wonderful area for walking, hiking
or biking.
Active in the surroundings
Uden's surroundings area is beautiful. Lots of paved bike trails
like the "Maashorst"- or the "Herperduin"
route, the "Udenoord" route or the "Mondriaan"-

dunes and fens. The hiking and walking trails like the "Udenoord"
route, the "Logcabin"
route, "De Hoef" nature path or the "High
and Low Slabroek" route and the slingerpad
make sure you pass the most beautiful spots in the area. The
small visitors among us can trail along the Gnome-path.
Visitors Centre Slabroek can provide you with a map with assignements,
poems and games. All the bike routes and walking paths are available
